The St. Charles Parish Library is committed to serving all neighborhoods and communities throughout the parish.
We offer a variety of outreach services and can customize our presentations, programs, and activities to accommodate all ages and needs.
In the Community
If you can’t come to the library, we’ll come to you! We love being a part of special community events and activities. During these events, library staff can operate a booth or table and demonstrate library resources, hand out promotional items, and sign people up for library cards. We can also make formal presentations as part of the event.
Some events are more active, incorporating an activity or storytime. You can find us once a month at the Luling Senior Center, hosting the Arc for a program at the library, and leading craft activities at the St. Rose and Killona Community Centers.
Informational
Library staff often attend community events and activities to let St. Charles Parish residents know about the free library resources, services, and programs available to them.
The library offers resources for every age and demographic of the community. We’ve participated in job fairs, health events, and led digital literacy presentations as part of outreach services.
Do you need a speaker at your event? We can customize a presentation for the interests and needs of your group.
If your school, organization, or club is interested in obtaining any type of informational service from the library, please contact us!
