Join LSU AgCenter Nutrition Agent Rinalda Roquin and LSU Food Safety Specialist Dr. Shannon Coleman for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn techniques for preserving the season’s bounty. This session will guide you through various canning methods of food preservation.  LSU AgCenter Horticulture Agent Alyssa Tarrant will also discuss and demonstrate how to plant strawberries. Participants will leave with their own preserved jar of strawberry jam, strawberry plants and grow bags.
