Summer Kick-Off Events
Celebrate the beginning of summer with us as we kick off the All Together Now 2023 Summer Reading Program on June 1, 2, and 3!
Can't make it to a kick-off party? No problem! Sign up for the reading program at myscpl.beanstack.com anytime and visit the library from June 1 through July 31 to learn more about the Summer Reading Program!
From photo areas and scavenger hunts to games and stories, drop in any time during the party to start your summer fun. You'll also be able to pick up a yard sign and collectible brag tags while supplies last.

THURSDAY, JUNE 1
Hahnville Branch: 10:00 AM - noon
Kick off the summer with a BLAZE at the Hahnville Branch Library! There will be a fireman and firetruck, crafts, scavenger hunt and more!
West Regional Library in Luling: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Let's get together to kickoff your summer! Come enjoy activities throughout the entire library, including a scavenger hunt.
St. Rose Branch: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Join us for the St. Rose Branch Library Summer Reading "All Together Now" Kick-Off! There will be activities, giveaways, brag tags, and sno-balls too!
FRIDAY, JUNE 2
East Regional Library in Destrehan: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Join the East Regional Library for our Summer Reading Kick-Off! We'll have giveaways and activities for all ages to enjoy.
Norco Branch: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Join us as we begin our summer reading program "All Together Now!" You can sign-up, collect your prizes, complete the scavenger hunt, and participate in the Craft-A-Palooza. A variety of crafts will be offered for all ages. Let's join in unity and kindness as we create new friendships while crafting together.
SATURDAY, JUNE 3
Paradis Branch: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
"Buzz" over to the Paradis Hive to kickoff the sweet summer theme "All Together Now." There will "bee" several activities throughout the library, a scavenger hunt, and more. Don't forget to collect your brag tag. It's sure to be the bee's knees!
