Library cards are free to residents of St. Charles Parish.
While we are closed, you can sign up for a temporary online card by clicking here. Once approved, your temporary library card is good until August 1, 2020 and you can receive your permanent card once the library reopens.
If your ID does not have your current address, bring one of the following:
- Current utility bill
- Lease/rental agreement
- Property tax bill
- Postmarked mail with your name and current address
Residents under 14 years of age must have a parent or guardian present during the application process.
Cards are also free for everyone who works, attends school, or owns property in St. Charles Parish. Please bring one of the following for proof of eligibility:
- School ID or tuition bill
- Employee ID or pay stub
- Property Deed or tax bill
If you do not live, work, go to school, or own property in St. Charles Parish, out of parish cards are available for a $5 yearly fee.
