October Newsletter

October is a busy month at the library!

STEM Fair is back on Tuesday, October 11 from 10am to 1pm at the East Regional Library in Destrehan, so dust off those beakers and pull out your lab coats to join us for a fair full of interactive STEM activities designed for students of all ages. Thanks to our partners at Entergy Waterford 3 for making this happen!

We're also partnering with the St. Charles Parish Girl Scouts for the second annual Trunk-Or-Treat at the East Regional Library on Saturday, October 29 from 4pm to 6pm. This is a family-friendly event, so get your costumes on and get ready for an afternoon of free fun!

Bites and Bytes, a series of computer classes for adults, begins on Tuesday, October 11. Learn basic computer skills and enjoy a light dinner afterwards. Click here to read more and learn how to register.

We have so many more activities for children, teens, and adults, so take a look at the October newsletter and check out the event calendar for the most up-to-date information.
