Prime Time Family Reading

Prime Time Family Reading is going virtual this year, but we’re still going to bring your family an enriching experience complete with reading, discussions, door prizes—and award-winning books to add to your home library!

This six-week program takes place Thursday evenings at 5:30 beginning March 11. It is for families with children in kindergarten through fourth grade, and each week families will discuss stories and improve reading skills, all while making learning fun. There will be engaging, family-based reading and discussion on topics like fairness, courage, and dreams. The discussions are proven to increase creativity, critical thinking, and academic success.

Join us for a free evening of fun one night a week for six weeks! There are only 15 spots, so click here to register or call any library location.

Prime Time Family Reading is a family literacy project sponsored by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH). The project is funded by the LEH, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the State of Louisiana.
