November Planetarium Showings

Don't miss our Planetarium showings during the month of November! Our Saturday Children's Matinee--One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure--is always great fun for our youngest Planetarium visitors.

For Evening Showings, Autumn Stargazing highlights the stars and constellations of fall. You and your family will learn to find your way around the autumn, night sky using the stars as your guide. You will also learn that there are more than just stars to observe in the evening sky. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

For Children's Matinees, One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure, introduces your young children to the wonders of stargazing with Big Bird and Elmo as their guide. They will join Elmo and his friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, on an imaginary trip to the Moon and learn how it differs from our home, the Earth. Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.

For Saturday Matinees, ASTRONOMYTHS brings to life the ancient Greek and Roman stories behind the constellations of the autumn night sky.  You and your family will learn the names of the autumn constellations and see the wonders of the universe hidden in each. Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.

See you under the stars!
