Self-Defense for Women and Teen Girls

We are partnering with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office again this summer to offer four sessions of "Self-Defense for Women and Teenage Girls" for ages 12 and up. Participants will learn how to protect themselves and develop the awareness and self-confidence necessary to avoid danger or respond to any situation.

This course consists of two hours of training and will cover general sexual assault definitions, self-defense laws, risk reduction strategies, as well as various self-defense techniques.

The defense class will be with a head-to-toe padded instructor. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, and bring your friends with you.

Registration is not needed.
