Vanora Legaux: Storyteller

We are excited to welcome Vanora Legaux, African Griot Storyteller to the East Regional Library this Wednesday, March 22 at 6pm. Everyone is invited to this family-friendly event to hear the traditions, history, and folklore of West Africa. The art of storytelling is the art of spoken love, oral history, and poetic expression.

Legaux is the Executive Director of the National Black Storytelling Association, and the beauty and power of her richly told and uniquely crafted tales have captivated audiences in cities across the country and brought delight to the hearts of countless listeners.
