Page Meets Stage
Page Meets Stage, a new book discussion series for adults, is a new partnership between the St. Charles Parish Library and the Lafon Arts Center.
This collision of books and performances will begin in April, with registration opening February 13.
Participants will attend the performance of Step Afrika! at the Lafon Arts Center on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30pm.
On Tuesday, April 4 at 6pm participants will meet and discuss the show and the book Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi while enjoying dinner. This book conversation will also take place at the Lafon Arts Center, located at 275 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.
This event is free and open to the public. The book, show ticket, and dinner are included as a part of this community program.
Registration is required and information regarding book pick-up will be provided at the time of registration. This program is supported by the Friends of the St. Charles Library.
