Library Action Plan: April 2, 2020 at 2:15pm

Due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 national emergency and Governor John Bel Edwards' stay-at-home order for the state of Louisiana, all St. Charles Parish Library locations will remain closed to slow the spread of the virus. The library will reopen when we determine it is safe for our staff and patrons. All updates to the library’s open status will be posted at and on the library’s Facebook page at

Read, Watch, Listen

hoopla Digital: Movies, TV Shows, eBooks, audiobooks, comics, and music are always available. Includes a Kids Mode.

OverDrive: eBooks and Audiobooks with areas for Kids and Teens. Download the Libby app for your phone or tablet.

Tumblebook Library: Animated books, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, and more.

InfoBase eBooks: Outstanding research books and literary classics. Includes history, science, literature, geography, social issues, biographies, health, careers, etc.

Flipster: Read your favorite magazines on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Sign in with your library card number as your Patron ID.
