Library Comic-Con®

Join us at the East Regional Library on Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our Second Annual Library Comic-Con®! This family-friendly Comic-Con® is for all ages.

Say "I choose you!" when you enter the Pokemon-themed children's room, which will feature a Pokemon scavenger hunt and activities led by the local chapter of the Pokemon league.

There will be games and activities throughout the library, and attendees will also have a chance to pose in front of our green screen for unique photos. Make sure to come dressed in your favorite costume!

Becca Hillburn will lead a "Make a MiniComic" workshop at 11 a.m. Becca will teach everyone a magic trick--how to turn a single sheet of paper into an eight-page MiniComic that can be copied and traded. Click here to see all of the classes she's teaching this summer at the library--all are for ages 8 through adult.

Artist Alley will feature local artists, authors, and vendors, including science fiction author Lee Stephen and artists Alette Matthews and Ashlyn McKinney.

Say you're coming on our Facebook Event and spread the word!
