April is Stress Awareness Month

Stress Awareness Month has been held every April since 1992.

During this annual observation, health care professionals and others interested making the world a less stressful place join forces to increase public awareness about the causes and cures for stress.

We are doing our part at the library to help make your life a little less stressful!

Every Monday evening at 6:00 at the West Regional Library, adults can attend Vinyasa Yoga with instructor Sara Lyon. Our weekly yoga classes are presented in partnership with Creative Family Solutions.

In this class, you will learn how to move with breath, focus, and mindful meditation—all of which can help relieve stress. There is no registration required.

Adults, you can also “Color Your Stress Away” at the East Regional Library on Monday, April 29 at 6:00pm.

Coloring is a great way to relieve stress!

Come for tea and coloring to ease some of your stress. All supplies will be provided, and there is no registration. Click here for the Facebook event.
