Cooking at the Library
Visit the library if you feel like broadening your cooking knowledge, learning a new technique, trying a new diet, or just learning more about food and cooking.
Take a trip to the cooking section when you visit the library—it’s in the nonfiction area, around call number 640. We also have cooking DVDs, including multiple seasons of America’s Test Kitchen.
Flipster is our online magazine service. Read your favorite magazines through Flipster and stop paying for subscriptions! We have magazines on many topics, and our food and cooking magazines include Bon Appetit, Clean Eating, Gluten-Free Living, Food and Wine, and many more.
We host two Cookbook Clubs monthly; everyone chooses a different recipe from a selected cookbook and prepares it for the following meeting, discussing the recipes as they share their dishes. The Paradis Cookbook Book Club meets on a Friday morning and the East Regional Cookbook Club meets on a Monday evening. Check out our event calendar for dates and times.
